Be warned, this tour is about plant reproduction, and therefore about sex. Green guide Bert will tell you about which charms plants and their flowers should use.
Because plants, unlike humans and animals, do not go for a walk in search of food, they do not encounter potential partners in the supermarket. They are nailed to the ground and will have to seduce with their color, shape or smell. The wind or flying private couriers (insects) play an important role in this.
In this tour you will take a wonderful spring walk (with your loved one?) and learn about the wonderful world of plant sex along the way;
- flowers are the sexual parts of plants
- Plants engage in incest as little as possible, but sometimes they do so very consciously
- every pot has a lid (or in other words every flower has a pollinator)
- nectar is the love elixir of plants
- How do gymnosperms get their fix?
- plants do ménage a trois
