The Heerlen Star House

Laagland house writer Annet Bremen was inspired by the Heerlen Sterrehuis, exemplary of many children's homes from the 1970s. This award-winning theatre text, based on Bremen's research and interviews with former Sterrehuis children and employees, is more relevant than ever. Based on this text - awarded the international youth theatre writing prize Kaas & Kappes in 2023 and nominated for the Toneelschrijfprijs - directing talent Silke van Kamp created a compelling performance with a fantastic cast.
