Global Music Nights: Araiz & Ramón Valle
1st concert: Araiz
"Araíz" – a name that stands for roots, heritage and the fusion of diverse musical traditions. Each member of this flamenco band brings a piece of their homeland, enriched with Indian and Greek influences, resulting in a melting pot of cultures and sounds. Araíz immerses its audience in a mystical atmosphere that evokes intense emotions and creates magical moments.
The project is a vision of flamenco artists Claudia Karapanou (dance), Lucas Arango (guitar) and Tarang Poddar (tabla, vocals), in which they try to reconnect flamenco with the music of India, the origin of the Gitano migration 1000 years ago. The trio invites special guests to their musical projects to complete the collective 'Araíz'.
