About Giovanni

Giovanni is currently the first and only theater maker with Roma roots in the Netherlands. It is his drive to make theater about stories that are almost too heavy to hear. The Roma and Sinti community is full of these stories, because in many places in Europe they are (still) treated inhumanely. Giovanni therefore sees it as his responsibility to bring the stories of the Roma and Sinti community to the stage, because they are also a large part of our Dutch history.
