Giovanca’s Soulful Christmas

In Giovanca's Soulful Christmas, Giovanca brings an unforgettable evening full of soul, gospel, funk and the timeless sounds of Motown in an intimate setting. Songs that will undoubtedly sound familiar to you. Giovanca's solo debut album Subway Silence was released in 2008 and was rewarded with a Gold Record. The albums While I'm Awake and Satellite Love were released afterwards. Giovanca won several awards, including a Buma Silver Harp, the Laren Jazz Award and a 3FM Serious Talent Award. In her theatre tour 'Giovanca honours Diana Ross', the singer paid tribute to her great idol.

On television, Giovanca presented the music program Vrije Geluiden until the end of 2019. For the EO, she presented the program Amazing Grace and the program ZING!, in which singing groups compete against each other. Furthermore, she presented the talk show OP1 every Tuesday for three and a half years together with Tijs van den Brink. She also has her own radio show, De avond van 5 met Giovanca, on Friday evenings on NPO Radio5.
