Thessaloniki? Check! Athens? Check! Rotterdam? Double check! Since 2015, Gidiki has been on a successful conquest with their experimental Greek folk. Last year, they set GROUNDS on fire and now they are returning to smoothly repeat that great evening.

A fundamental element of the band is the love of improvisation, which stems from the different musical influences of its members. Every live performance offers the opportunity to experiment with traditional musical forms and rhythms, but also to create a dynamic interaction with the audience, creating the conditions for a contemporary “urban party”. The result is an overwhelming and unique experience, because no show is the same as the previous one. In 2023, Gidiki released their first album Ahoy and a year later their second album Perasma was released. After shows at all the major festivals in Greece and several tours in Europe (Germany, France, Belgium and the United Kingdom), they are now back at GROUNDS to let us enjoy their Greek folk with a twist.
