Ghost-Note bursts into life during BoogieBall, the North Sea Jazz afterparty!
Led by Robert “Sput” Searight and Nate Werth, of multi-Grammy-winning Snarky Puppy fame, this explosive collective features an all-star lineup that has played with Prince, Snoop Dogg, Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, Kendrick Lamar, Marcus Miller, Toto, Justin Timberlake and more.
Ghost-Note takes the roots of James Brown and Sly & The Family Stone and breathes new life into them with afrobeat, hip-hop, psychedelia and world music. Their album Swagism (2018) set the tone: an irresistible mix of rhythm and groove, featuring contributions from Kamasi Washington, Karl Denson, Bobby Sparks and Nigel Hall. Live, Ghost-Note is an unprecedented experience: tight grooves, a bomb of energy and a danceable vibe that leaves no room unmoved. With a new album coming in 2024, now is the time to experience them in all their glory.
