Future Citizens New Dutch Connections

Future Citizens is a special theatre project by New Dutch Connections, conceived by theatre maker Bright Richards, who came to the Netherlands as a refugee himself. The performance brings moving and hopeful stories of newcomers to life. Professional actors and musicians take you along in stories about coming home, building a new life and chasing dreams.

During the performance, regional status holders and asylum seekers share their personal and professional ambitions. This creates a unique encounter between newcomers and the audience.

Future Citizens is more than a theatre performance. It is a call to see and support each other. By listening and engaging in conversation, you help build a future in which everyone counts.
