For a moment Brel is back.

How wonderful it is that there are still musicians who are addicted to the repertoire of the Belgian chansonnier Jacques Brel. As a result, we can still enjoy his music live almost half a century after his death.

This season, Flemish Filip Jordens pays homage to his fellow countryman. Of course, he sings the most beautiful chansons of Jacques Brel, but secretly he is also a bit of Brel.

Jordens moves, breathes and works up a sweat like his hero did. For a moment, Brel is back.

Jacques Brel never quit.
