With her new cabaret solo Women in Resistance, Frédérique Arnold brings an impressive ode to the female resistance fighters of the Second World War. Inspired by the story of her own great-aunt Riet, who worked as a courier and secretary for the Dutch Resistance, Frédérique puts these often forgotten heroines in the spotlight. With a mix of historical depth and personal involvement, she takes the audience along in a performance that continues to resonate. A unique opportunity to reflect on courage and strength in times of struggle. Don't miss it!
Hidde van Gestel graduated cum laude in Dutch Studies and is therefore very smart. That is absolutely beyond dispute. Smart and eloquent. But you hardly hear him talk about that himself. Because can you still brag about intelligence? What use is that to you now? Discover how Hidde looks at things that we have blindly accepted and have taken for granted until now. After his argument, assumptions are only shaky. Also (or especially) suitable for hyper-intellectuals!
