Fijt & Fictie proudly presents two more artists in the charming chapel hall of the old Monastery in Rotterdam-Noord. We will briefly introduce them to you.
Tobias Wenting has been playing the piano since he was seven. After his classical piano studies, he decided to broaden his horizons by studying Composition for Film and Theatre at ArtEZ Arnhem. At ArtEZ, his love for playing the piano, composing, singing and writing lyrics came together within the Dutch cabaret. Tobias' theatre work includes virtuoso musical and textual surprises. He is constantly looking for unconventional ways in which music and text can come together. In addition to his work as a pianist and theatre maker, Tobias is involved as an arranger and composer in various theatre, film and game projects at home and abroad.
Oscar Smit is a lawyer and stand-up comedian. He is a permanent member of the Utrecht Comedy House, and wrote for several seasons for the VPRO program Plakshot. In 2024, Oscar won the final of the Cameretten Festival.
