Eric Vloeimans & Jörg Brinkmann

After numerous successful performances, jazz trumpeter Eric Vloeimans returns, this time in an intimate and groundbreaking collaboration with German multi-instrumentalist Jörg Brinkmann. Vloeimans' characteristic sound—glowing and velvety soft—blends effortlessly with Brinkmann's virtuoso cello playing, which is sometimes reminiscent of a guitar. Together they bring a program with their own compositions and works by legendary composers such as Ennio Morricone and Charles Aznavour. They previously proved their chemistry in the trio Oliver's Cinema and with their contribution to the film Wild Port of Europe (2022), for which Vloeimans received an Edison nomination. This special evening promises a musical journey of discovery in which improvisation and craftsmanship come together.
