Erasmus Jazz Prijs

During the finals, the talents will go to great lengths to get the best out of themselves. They will challenge themselves, seek out the boundaries of music and exceed them. Expect a very varied, unique jazz program with the best young musicians of the moment. The Erasmus Jazz Prize was introduced by Codarts and the Friends of Codarts Foundation to give young jazz talent a push towards the professional circuit. The now prestigious prize has proven to be a great stepping stone for a number of successful young jazz musicians. In 2024, Andrew Moreno won the Erasmus Jazz Prize. The Erasmus Jazz Prize 2025 is made possible by main sponsor Nedspice, LantarenVenster and the Friends of Codarts Foundation.
