Droom Dit

In poetic Dutch lyrics, Droom Dit takes you on a journey through the complexity of human emotions. The hyper-autobiographical stories of this six-piece band are driven by synth-rich experimental pop and conveyed to the audience with bombastic conviction. Their sound evokes a sense of nostalgia—as if you are watching an old, grainy VHS recording—but at the same time finds strong points of contact with modern pop, synthwave and art rock.

Droom Dit has released an EP and a few singles so far, and in just one year they have made a big impression with their raw, sincere and theatrical performances at festivals such as Popronde, Noorderslag, Dauwpop and Best Kept Secret. With complex, philosophical themes about the infinite range of human emotions and the microscopic details of everything around us, the band confidently proves that the Dutch language is extremely suitable for poetry.
