On May 4th, we will stand together in silence for the National Remembrance. We commemorate all civilians and soldiers who died anywhere in the world.
You are welcome to join us for a light meal and to talk to each other. Afterwards we will move to the hall for a special live performance by Tete2Tete & Thom Stout followed by the livestream of the National Remembrance on Dam Square and the two minutes of silence.
After the commemoration, there will be a short opportunity to chat or get a drink, after which we will conclude the evening with the impressive film The Zone of Interest. An oppressive war drama about an SS officer who lives an idyllic life with his family just outside the walls of Auschwitz, while the horrors of the camp take place around the corner. The film offers a penetrating look at the banality of evil. drama, 2023, Jonathan Glazer, 105 min, 16+
