Every year on May 4, we commemorate all civilians and military personnel who have been killed or murdered in the Kingdom of the Netherlands or anywhere else in the world since the outbreak of the Second World War, in war situations and during peace operations.
The wreath layings will take place in private before the commemoration ceremony. Of course, interested parties are welcome to walk past the monuments after the ceremony.
The Crooswijk General Cemetery has a number of (honorary) graves and monuments in memory of military and civilian victims of the Second World War, but also of other wars.
