Docentenavond NFMR

The Network Film and Media Education Rotterdam (NFMR) and Filmhub Zuid-Holland invite you on Wednesday evening 23 October for an evening full of creativity and socially relevant themes, in which teachers and education professionals can experience the possibilities of media art and film education. The event will take place in LantarenVenster.

Workshops During this first edition, we will focus on the future. How do you integrate film and media art into a creative lesson? How do you engage in conversation about different future perspectives? And how can you teach young people to look critically at a rapidly changing world? In the various workshops, you will be given space to think, do and experience.

The workshops are given by the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), LantarenVenster (LV), Digital Playground (DP), the Rotterdam Foundation for Artistic Education (SKVR), Watch that Sound (WTS), the Netherlands Photo Museum (NFM) and the Knowledge Centre for Cultural Education Rotterdam (KCR).

Keynote Speaker: Aaron Mirck Aaron Mirck is an expert on technology and its impact on society and education. Together with Aaron, we will have a philosophical conversation about the future of human and artificial creativity.
