Dilan Yurdakul - Alter

You previously saw all-rounder Dilan Yurdakul in Walhalla with the solo performances Door De Schaduw Heen and Niet Seen, Niet Gehoord. Now she is back with the performance Alter. In Alter, Dilan tries to draw a line between her own story and the history of her family.

Baba, daddy, who turned his back on his village in Turkey. Babaanne and Anneanne, both grandmothers, who sacrificed themselves completely for the family. Anne, her mother, who is confused between choosing her freedom and sacrifice for her family. And Dede, grandpa, who says: “You and I Dilan, we feel the same pain.” The pain when you no longer recognize yourself in your family. Dilan investigates which 'alters' she carries with her and how she should further shape her life, because unlike those who have gone before her, she can consciously determine her own future.
