DeWolff

No one can deny that the three long-haired men of DeWolff are the sixties garage rock virtuosos of the Low Countries. Their explosive mix of southern blues rock with a touch of soul and psychedelia is lively and wild, groovy and mercilessly unstoppable. Although they are bound for life to a certain playing style and sound, they know how to push the boundaries again and again. DeWolff continues to surprise and innovate. What hasn't changed are the flashy outfits and the crushing Hammond organ that the band takes everywhere, but we wouldn't want to see it any other way.

In May 2024, DeWolff traveled to Muscle Shoals, Alabama to record their tenth studio album with Grammy Award-winning producer Ben Tanner at two legendary studios: FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. Heroes such as Aretha Franklin, Little Richard and The Rolling Stones recorded albums here. It will therefore come as no surprise that their tenth album shows influences from the rich musical history that was literally written in these studios 50 years ago. But still, DeWolff will always sound like DeWolff: a fiery, idiosyncratic steam locomotive that races straight through its own time zone and leaves you enchanted and speechless by an overwhelming live show.
