De Kracht van Beeldtaal - Jos Collignon

Collignon started drawing in the seventies during his law studies. International law was an important driving force in the half century that followed. With brush, ink and a good dose of humor, he worked as a cartoonist for de Volkskrant from the eighties onwards. He said goodbye there last summer, not without a struggle.

The cartoonist mocked countless dictators, religious fundamentalists and other villains. He saw nature around us decay, but the long toes in society grow. Is there still hope for biting humor?
