What role does language play in giving meaning to our world?

Manu takes you on a journey through a series of songs and texts. Sometimes large and compelling, then again small and personal. A performance about the love that Manu feels for language, and at the same time the struggle. A performance about the creative power and destructive side of language.

Manu takes you along in his love for his children, for whom he tries to interpret the world as a 'postmodern father'. But also about how he was confronted with racism for the first time as a child. He also expresses his frustration about a conflict about which he wants to say so much, but which unfortunately will not bring about any change.

He then looks back on a trip to Palestine, where years ago he helped young people find words for their traumas during a workshop.
