Mrs. Ogterop is visiting Walhalla again. The idiosyncratic Drenthe production house with strong performances has become a permanent fixture in our programming. Previously, they produced De Kant Van Ada and Ik Zou Liever Angel Heten at Walhalla. This season, Mrs. Ogterop is back with De Eeuwige Jachtvelden, based on the novel by Nanne Tepper.
In the performance you follow the lives of the children Lisa, Anna and Victor who grow up in a desolate village in the countryside. The atmosphere in the family is determined by a heavy drinking father and a mother who tries to escape her family. Despite this, or perhaps because of this, the children feel a strong bond with the nest they come from. Despite all the misery, they keep love in sight.
