Daryll-Ann

When we talk about defining 50 years of Dutch pop music, Daryll-Ann certainly deserves a prominent place in this history. Comeback; these literal dad rockers will take the stage again. Their careful 90's indie rock is emotionally charged and compelling, sincere but sturdy, dynamic and above all unique and incredibly creative in composition. Their vocal harmonies are reminiscent of the Beach Boys from the 70s, but the songs themselves feel more like those of fellow countrymen JOHAN or Scram C Baby.

The band has released 6 albums, the last of which was in 2004. Now, exactly twenty years later, it is time for the five-piece band to be revived in the original line-up. Their guitars will scream again, and their vocals and compelling lyrics will grip your emotions once again. A fun fact is that Daryll-Ann was the first band to release a record on the renowned Dutch record label Excelsior Recordings.
