Damn Honey - Moedig Voorwaarts (try-out) try-out

For people who have been standing on the barricades for years or secretly dream about it

Marie Lotte Hagen and Nydia van Voorthuizen, sultry voices behind the feminist podcast DAMN, HONEY, have only one tiny wish: equality for everyone. But in a world where the call for equality is often silenced, drowned out and mocked, it is still quite a challenge to keep up the courage.

Marie Lotte and Nydia - with their characteristic mix of humor, self-mockery and the will to change things - courageously move forward in the search for answers to the questions we all recognize:

How do you stay optimistic when one miserable news item after another appears on your phone?

Where do you get your fighting spirit when you feel like no one is listening?

How do you keep your courage when you are actively opposed? They would prefer to say: 'Moedig Forward is more than a theater performance. It's a call! A movement! A life motto!' But yeah, that sounds way too pompous, so they don't do that. They do promise to send you out of the room with a smile and renewed fighting spirit. Because progress is not only possible, but necessary. A performance for people who have been standing on the barricades for years, but also for everyone who would like to do something, but doesn't know where to start or still finds it (too) exciting. Marie Lotte and Nydia are there to encourage you with every step you take.
