The walk starts at 12:30 and takes about an hour and a half. We meet in the Buurttuin. That is at the entrance of the Dakpark at the intersection of Hudsonstraat and Catharina Beersmansstraat.

The many stories of the Roof Park

The Dakpark is a unique park at home and abroad. Of course because of its size and location, above big shops and a parking garage. But also because this park is the result of an initiative of active residents. Stichting Dakpark works with a group of volunteers and local residents on the green maintenance of the park and the management of the Buurttuin. The plants, shrubs and trees have been specially selected for this special location. The theme gardens, such as the Mediterranean garden, the herb beds and the ornamental strips each have their own atmosphere.
