During Composer's Day, Oscar van Dillen, Fie Schouten, Duo Bottasso and Alexandra Alden will bring a diptych full of musical dreamscapes. Expect an enchanting mix of electronics, folk and experimental sounds in which dreams, connection and resilience are central.
For Composer's Day, various composers come together for Dreamscapes: a diptych in which music functions as a poetic landscape full of dreams and reflection. In the first part, Oscar van Dillen (electronics) and Fie Schouten (clarinets) create an introspective world with Dronescape 6.5 – Oneirology 6, in which there is room to listen, dream and connect.
The second part of the concert unites the radical Duo Bottasso and singer-songwriter Alexandra Alden. Their collaboration weaves Italian folk, free improvisation and Alden's refined songs into a layered musical dream image. A world premiere with a baritone violin solo, melancholic melodies and powerful interaction.
Dreamscapes is an evening that makes room for silence, imagination and the intangible – an ode to the architecture of dreams.
