Conny Janssen Danst - DANSLOKAAL 12

From 10 to 20 October, Conny Janssen Danst presents DANSLOKAAL 12 in its own HUIS on Katendrecht: a surprising dance performance that is the result of the collaboration between young, talented choreographers and the dancers of the Rotterdam company. This edition features new work by Bas van der Kruk (delegated by Dansateliers), Sarada Sarita (delegated by Korzo) and Charlie Skuy (winner of the Conny Janssen Danst Partner Award RIDCC 2023). Makers, dancers and audiences will embark on a choreographic, groundbreaking journey full of movement and discover the future of dance in DANSLOKAAL 12.

This year, Conny Janssen Danst presents the 12th edition of the successful initiative DANSLOKAAL, an annual co-production with Korzo (The Hague) and Dansateliers (Rotterdam). In this varied programme, three young dance makers will work with dancers from the company, each creating a new 20-minute piece. It offers makers a wonderful opportunity to develop their talent and creativity within the professional context of the company and to present their work on various stages. The dancers are also artistically challenged and explore new working methods and movement languages.
