Como el Viento
Poetic mosaic drama with Hadewych Minis, Soumaya Akaaboune and Gijs Naber in which three love stories intersect during a crossing from Morocco to Spain.
During the crossing from Morocco to Spain, three storylines intersect, connected to the fear of loss and the love of the characters for each other. Iris, Wouter and their two sons take the ferry from Morocco to Spain, on their way home.
The holiday did not solve the relationship problems of the Dutch couple. Nevertheless, Iris and Wouter find each other in a moment of passion, but then their eight-year-old son Peter gets lost. For the Moroccan ferry captain Bukhim, this crossing is different from others. Together with his wife, he secretly brings his pregnant daughter Yamila to Spain, hoping for a better future for her and her bastard child. However, his daughter has other plans. Luis and Raul, two Spanish coast guard employees, find a body in the Spanish port; one too many for Raul. He does not want to end up like Luis, cut off from all feelings. Luis, in turn, does not dare to follow his love for Paloma. Desperately, the characters try to make the crossing to the other. But their secrets travel with them and keep them captive. The inability to break free from this leaves room for the inevitable. Fate turns the tide.
