Closing Curtain

Closing Curtain is an inclusive evening where we provide a stage for women in the arts, move the DJ out of the spotlight and bring light art to the forefront of the dance floor.

Closing Curtain

When the curtain falls, the night begins

On May 17th, Brouwerij Noordt in Rotterdam transforms into an immersive club night filled with electronic music, light art, and visual art. Organized by the Closing Curtain Crew, the event centers on inclusivity, connection, and sensory surprise.

“We want to create a space where everyone feels welcome, and where art and music intersect in unexpected ways,” say the organizers of Closing Curtain.

An inclusive escape full of surprises

This night is for anyone seeking something new: an escape from the daily grind, a deeper connection with art, or simply a unique night out. By playing with the visibility of the DJs and shifting the focus toward the guests themselves, a special energy arises—one that creates room for serendipity and spontaneous encounters. Emerging artists are given the chance to showcase their work in an environment where you'd least expect it.

The event takes place on Friday, May 17th from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM at Brouwerij Noordt, Zaagmolenkade 46, 3035 KA Rotterdam. Tickets are €12.50 and available through the Closing Curtain Instagram page (@clubclosing).
