Christos Barbas and Nabil Naïr draw on the richness of their diverse musical and cultural journeys, where a multitude of skies and feelings of togetherness converge, to bring a very particular musical proposal, not only for its format and instrumentation, but also for its sonic character and the place from which it speaks to us. They met in the circles of modal music of the Greek-Turkish and Mediterranean traditions, discovering their similar affinities for the beauty of melodies, the atmospheres of delicate minimalism or the power of rhythmic play. From the intimacy and fragility of the duo form, which gives them a lot of space to fill - or to leave empty - they believe in the growing need to create such places, creating and sharing original compositions to explore these crossroads, supported by a unique sensitivity, listening and improvisation.
