Cara Rose is a 26-year-old Scottish singer-songwriter, exploring what it means to be a young woman in such uncertain times. Her direct, passionate and insightful lyrics are clearly Glaswegian, and she doesn’t mince her words on topics such as love, life and her place in the world.
Cara nurtured her love for soulful music, inspired by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone, Lauryn Hill, Joan Armatrading and John Martyn. In 2024 she started her debut tour through Europe with sold-out shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland but also in Rotterdam's Kantine Walhalla. Now for the first time in LantarenVenster's Zaal 1!
