Burendag Rotterdam Airport

During Neighbours Day, neighbours will have the opportunity to learn more about the airport and how it functions. They can ask questions to our partners about topics such as flight routes, noise pollution, sustainability, innovation and other themes that concern them.

For children there is an extensive program full of activities. For example, they can dress up as a pilot or stewardess, have their picture taken with our mascot Charlie and admire a small plane up close. In addition, they will be introduced to important functions at the airport, such as the Airport Fire Brigade, the Royal Military Police and the Marshaller. There are also creative workshops, such as folding and coloring airplanes, which will certainly appeal to the younger visitors. This promises to be a fun, interactive and educational day.
