Fantasizing is also a bit of a lie, you make up all sorts of things that are not real, not 'true', do not exist. Fantasizing is always allowed. But when are you a liar? This is the question coupdeboule takes off with.
In a simple and ingenious design, more and more shapes and colours unfold and pop out. With the decor, the music also becomes crazier, wilder and therefore more cheerful, until the playroom becomes another world. A world full of bits of fantasy, in all shapes and sizes. The music is composed (in collaboration with the Royal Conservatory of The Hague) by Delara Navaey.
coupdeboule consists of theatre makers Eileen Graham and Katelijne Beukema. From fantasy coupdeboule searches for answers to difficult questions such as in this case what is real and what is not. They make playful-philosophical performances with the aim of actively stimulating the imagination of the audience, regardless of age. coupdeboule's work is colourful and physical.
