Bridget Jones - Mad About the Boy

In Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, Bridget finds herself alone again. Widowed four years ago after Mark was killed on a humanitarian mission in Sudan, she is now a single mother to 9-year-old Billy and 4-year-old Mabel, with the help of her loyal friends and, occasionally, her ex, Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant). Under pressure from her urban family—Shazzer, Jude and Tom, her work colleague Miranda, her mother and her OB/GYN, Dr. Rawlings (Oscar® winner Emma Thompson)—who encourage her to take a new path in life and love, Bridget returns to work and even tries her hand at dating apps, where she is quickly seduced by a charming, eager young man (The White Lotus' Leo Woodall). As she tries to balance work, family and romance, Bridget struggles with the judgment of the perfect mothers at school and her concerns about Billy, who is struggling to cope with his father's absence. And then she has some awkward interactions with her son's overly rational physics teacher (Oscar® nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor).
