Breakfast Collective: Reinvention

Hailing from the vibrant cultural heart of Rotterdam, Breakfast Collective is a dynamic ensemble that cannot be pigeonholed into one genre. With a repertoire of original compositions and daring arrangements of jazz standards by all members, they combine elements of jazz, classical music and experimental sounds. The ensemble was founded by Johnny Agisilaou (drums), Jurriaan de Kok (double bass) and Luna Hallenga (violin) and exudes an unlimited curiosity.

With the energy of their recent North Sea Jazz Round Town performance, the group expands with Christine Cornwell (violin) and Sebastian Wrincq (guitar), bringing fresh perspectives and new musical textures. In honor of the new year, innovation is at the heart of their approach as they continue to push their own creative boundaries.
