Bnnyhunna in BIRD!
This year, Bnnyhunna will be the driving force behind BoogieBall for not one, but two nights!
As one of four local hosts, he plays on Fridays and Saturdays between 1am and 4am, and with his groundbreaking sound he is guaranteed to create magical moments.
Born in Amsterdam with Ghanaian roots, Benjamin 'Bnnyhunna' Ankomah found his voice in music. He learned to play piano, guitar and drums in church, later producing tracks for Gaidaa, Rimon and Dolapo, and touring the world with José James, Arp Frique and Yung Nnelg. His unique blend of jazz, Afro, hip-hop and R&B, influenced by greats such as Fela Kuti, Pharrell and Kendrick Lamar, comes together beautifully on his debut album ECHOES OF PRAYER.
And if that wasn't enough, last week he won an Edison, a reward for his craftsmanship and artistic vision. During BoogieBall he brings his deep grooves and captivating vibes to the late hours.
