Blitz
Blitz is set in London at the beginning of World War II. Rita (Saoirse Ronan) lives with her father (Paul Weller) and her 9-year-old son George (Elliott Heffernan) in a working-class neighborhood. At the time, parents were being urged to evacuate their children because of the ongoing bombing of the city.
After a devastating bombing, Rita also realizes that she has no choice but to send George away for his safety. But George refuses to accept the farewell and wants to stay with his mother at all costs.
In a desperate attempt, he escapes from the moving train and tries to find his way back home. When the news of his disappearance reaches Rita, she panics. Will mother and son ever be able to hug each other again?
