BIRDsessions at BIRD
This week BOR kicks off our weekly Jam Session.
This edition of the BIRDsessions brings together five creative talents from the Netherlands on our stage for a short, grooving set that kicks off the weekly jam!
Maltese bassist Dean Montanaro, known from bands such as Su Nichel, Antares Flare and most recently BIRD’s own The Nest Vol. 4, has enthusiastically assembled this energetic group of fresh talents to open the evening. Their music is at the crossroads of modern jazz and soul, with influences from alternative pop and North African music. These songs are being presented to the public for the first time, with some written especially for this session.
After this set the jam session will open and everyone is welcome to join in, so don't forget to bring your instrument!
