Better Man is an energetic music film that takes you through the life of British singer and diva Robbie Williams, from his first success in Take That to the ups and downs of his solo career and his personal problems with love and drug abuse.

The film begins with Williams' childhood in a working-class neighborhood in Stoke-on-Trent, central England, where he grows up with his loving grandmother and parents. His father wants to become famous as a singer, but he never succeeds. Inspired by his father and with his visible talent, Robbie decides that he also wants to become famous. He succeeds in 1990 when he auditions for a new boy band: Take That. But money and fame eventually take their toll....

According to director Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman), no biopic could do justice to the singer's turbulent life, so he gave the story a unique twist. Williams plays himself as an adult, but in the form of a CGI monkey. That may sound strange, but it leads to a dazzling, original and energetic music film and something you've never seen before.
