Henk van Vessem (1939) has made a splash in the Netherlands and (far) beyond since the 1970s with his lyrical abstract paintings.

His works reflect an inner reality that manifests itself in an exceptional sense of composition and virtuoso paint handling. He works as he himself says: 'from my feeling, my gut' and searches for possibilities to express moods and feelings in paint. At the age of 84, Henk is still working hard. The exhibition at F•ART offers a unique opportunity to admire his latest works, which radiate energy and zest for life.

MISHMASH is the name under which artists and designers Frank van Oosten and Henk Bezemer operate as a duo. It is also the name of their studio, gallery and creative breeding ground in the centre of Rotterdam. They regularly invite other professional artists and designers under the name F•ART, Fine Art pop-up Rotterdam.
