Bente

Bente's musical journey began at the tender age of 11, and as a teenager she was already in the spotlight in programs such as The Voice Kids and De Wereld Draait Door. During that period a documentary was also made about her, entitled "Bente's Stem". She creates melodramatic Dutch songs that evoke nostalgia and melancholy, filled with emotion and introspection. Her music is in line with artists such as S10, Froukje and the American artist Lorde.

In 2019, Bente decided to change her musical course and signed with the prestigious record label TopNotch. She made her breakthrough with her single "Liefste, Ken Je Mij," and since then she has made impressive progress with two EPs and several successful singles, collaborating with well-known artists such as Maan and Ronnie Flex. Her debut album "Als Ik kan Dansen met de Wind," released in 2022, featured prominent names such as Typhoon, Tim Knol and Meau, with which Bente showed her mature sound. With an incredible ability for introspection and evoking emotions through her music, Bente is ready to move us to tears this evening at Annabel.
