Popular comedian Benji is at the top in Cape Verde. Over the past seven years he has traveled through Europe, Cape Verde and the USA. And now he is finally in the Netherlands with his stand-up comedy show.
Benji was born in Portugal to Cape Verdean parents. Cape Verdean culture and traditions were always present during his childhood. As a child he was already the king of jokes in his group of friends.
His career started with voice-overs. When he became more popular on social media, he started doing stand-up comedy.
He now has over 400,000 followers and is famous for his phrase 'Da Molga!'.
