Fuzzy pop trio Beach Weather are aptly named: their relaxed and dreamy sound is reminiscent of those wonderful, lazy beach days. Their signature hazy sound, catchy songwriting and infectious hooks are uplifting and melancholic at the same time. Their alt-pop with indie rock nestles in your head and stays there for days.
The band released two EPs before going on hiatus in 2017. Their 2016 track “Sex, Drugs, Etc.” unexpectedly went viral on TikTok in 2022, sparking renewed interest in the group. The mega-hit is about the fear of not belonging anywhere and how to deal with it. The hit was the impetus for the band to reunite and go on tour. Their debut album Pineapple Sunrise was released in 2023, followed by their second album Melt in 2024. Tonight, they’ll play a delicious set of their best desert disco. Come prepared!
