ReteDonne Paesi Bassi invites you to a special celebration of April 25, Italy's Liberation Day, with an Anti-Fascist Spaghetti Dinner . During this evening full of culture, remembrance and commitment, we will reflect on the values of freedom and democracy, inspired by a tradition of resistance against Nazi-fascism.
Special guest is journalist and writer Yvonne Scholten, who will give a lecture about Aat Breur-Hibma – artist, resistance fighter and important figurehead of the Dutch anti-fascist movement. Her story connects art and activism in an impressive historical perspective.
Together we eat, listen and discuss the ideals of equality, justice and peace – in the spirit of the resistance then, with an eye to the challenges of today. An evening where meeting and awareness are central.
