Anniek Rodenburg (2001) is a Dutch author. She used to want to be a musical actress, but she soon discovered that her real passion was in creating stories. That is why she became active on the writers' platform Wattpad in high school, where she published the first versions of the story of Riv Pinksterbloem.

During the first corona lockdown, she decided to seriously pursue her publishing dream. At the age of nineteen, Anniek wrote her first book, Pearl and Time, a YA fantasy about a mermaid in the port of Rotterdam, which was published by Clavis two years later. The sequel, Stars and Sirens, was published in 2024. The final part of the trilogy, Crown and Kyrata, will be published in October.
