ANDRO I.s.m. Stichting De Nieuwe Lichting
ANDRO brings a unique mix of roots-reggae, hip-hop and pop with personal lyrics about love, loss and his background. After a successful debut EP and a strong start on festivals and club tours, he is ready to continue his musical journey.
This is ANDRO, the Dutch return of reggae in our country. By mixing classic roots reggae with hip hop, pop and influences from everything that can be found between Postmen and Typhoon, ANDRO knows how to create a contemporary and unique style. Through his lyrics you see the world through his eyes, with stories in which subjects such as love, loss and his roots are only the beginning of what ANDRO has in store for us.
Last summer ANDRO released his debut EP We Zijn Hier and celebrated that in a sold-out show in Rotterdam. With the first festivals in 2024 to his name, co-performer as support during the club tour of Chef'Special and as the most booked act during the Popronde, we can speak of a successful kickstart!
