Amazigh Nieuwjaar 2025 10e editie

The celebration of Amazigh Yennayer is a musical evening full of conviviality. It is also the opportunity to taste authentic Amazigh cultural heritage.

The Amazigh language and culture are extensively covered.

This year, Bades Foundation celebrates the tenth edition of Bades Yennayer. Grand band Imetlaa, an important part of the Bades Yennayer celebration for many years, returns to the stage. Together with Milouda, Izran group Afamed and a big surprise… (names to be announced) the program is rich and varied.

The modern music styles, combined with traditional texts of the Izran-Riffian sung poetic songs, appeal to large groups of music lovers. Furthermore, there is ample space for literature and poetry, with Mohamed Benzakour among others. There are also workshops on handicrafts by Ouardani Aissa and in the foyer there are stalls for books and Amazigh items among others.

That evening, the Bades Award will be presented to a very special guest.
