All Female Jam - Met Shaynah
A cozy get together with Rotterdam artists in Café Dox. Together with NANDA, Café Dox organizes a jam session every month especially for female artists.
Shaynah was born into music, her parents, both professional musicians, inspired her and instilled in her a love for music. "Making music is a way to process experiences that evoke certain feelings. These can be traumatic, thought provoking or new situations/adventures. I share my music to create a space of community and collective healing.
The AFJ House Band
For the All Female Jamm, host Nanda Akkerman put together a special house band consisting of great musicians who have all earned their spurs in the Dutch pop sector for a long time. The jamm will be opened and accompanied by this band, who work with different guest artists per edition. In between, the band welcomes and helps all ladies who (regardless of level or instrument) want to show or try out their musical talents on stage!
Nanda Akkerman
The host, singer and regular face of the All Female Jamm! You may know Nanda from her solo career or perhaps you have seen her at work as a backing vocalist for The Rootsriders.

Yep.. Were bringing out the big guns! The drummer of the AFJ house band is none other than DESH. You may know DESH from her own music, DESH is one of the few drummers who successfully releases her own music. You may also have seen her as the drummer of the electro-pop sensation Merol!
Deborah Slijkhuis
On the bass guitar plays none other than Deborah Slijkhuis. Besides being a bass player, Deborah is also a composer and producer. A true musical jack-of-all-trades! You may know her from her own works, such as her most recent album 'Soul Searching' or from her work in bands like Roseye.
Maria Sanchez Garcia
On guitar we find Marcia Sanchez Garcia. Besides being a guitarist, Maria is a well-known programmer in the Netherlands. Maria makes programs for pop venue PAARD and festival 'Into the Great Wide Open'. Maria also made a splash as a guitarist with artists such as 'BNNYHUNNA' and 'Gaidaa'.
Sophie Anglionin
Sophie Anglionin grew up in a musical family and knew from a young age that music was her path. After training as a pop/session musician at the conservatory in Haarlem, she built a versatile career as a keyboard player, backing vocalist and musical director. She worked with artists such as Edsilia Rombley, Berget Lewis and Glennis Grace and earned the nickname Funky Sophie. In addition to the stage, she creates music for theater, including with Orkater, and teaches at the Royal Conservatory. Sophie is also active in her own studio and with the collective PARRA.DICE at festivals such as Wildeburg and Eurosonic.
