Take an emotional journey through history, in which African women from the Caribbean and South America resisted the atrocities of slavery. With powerful dance and compelling music, Untold and Black Harmony bring to life the stories of Solitude from Guadeloupe, Ma Cato from Suriname, Maria from Curaçao, Nanny from Jamaica and Cecile Fatiman from Haiti.

A story about the history of slavery with games and music. Traditions, customs and rituals are depicted and how this still influences our modern society.
About Untold and Black Harmony
Untold is committed to increasing awareness of the collective identity, history and future prospects of Afro-Dutch youth. Young and old can come to them for a unique range of African dance styles, music, theater forms, heritage and art. Black Harmony strives to contribute to the cultural positioning of the African-Surinamese community with traditional Apinti and Kawina music, and organizes performances, workshops and exchange programs to promote positive images of black men in Dutch society.
