Directed by Jared Hess and starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black, the film also stars Emma Myers (Wednesday), Oscar nominee Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple), Sebastian Hansen (Just Mercy, Lisey's Story), and Jennifer Coolidge (White Lotus). Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity is not only useful, it's essential to survival. Four troubled outcasts—Garrett “the Garbage Man” Garrison (Momoa), Henry (Hansen), Natalie (Myers), and Dawn (Brooks)—are suddenly transported through a mysterious portal into the Overworld, a bizarre, cubist wonderland where imagination is everything. To survive in this new world, they must battle evil creatures such as Piglins and Zombies to get back. With unexpected help from expert Steve (Black), they embark on a magical mission. The five adventurers will have to be brave and discover their own unique creative qualities – skills they will also need in real life.
